#FakeWheelchairAlert: Authentic Disability Representation in Stock Photography

September 27, 2023
2:00pm - 3:00pm

Live Training Event - Disabilities are widely underrepresented in advertising and stock library content. When disability is depicted, it's often in offensive, inauthentic, or stereotypical ways. Learn the ins and outs of creating an authentic asset library, starting with how to spot a bad stock photo, sourcing disabled talent, and knowing which words to use in casting call. Grasp the basics of on-set accessibility logistics and understand how to communicate with disabled talent during your photoshoot.

Join LaVant Consulting for this ONLINE 60-minute training designed for photographers, marketers, advertising professionals, and others who are invested in creating authentic and inclusive imagery of the disability community.

Tuition: Tuition for this training is $349/USD and includes 7-day access to the training recording, starting the day after training, and digital downloads of the training outline and tip sheet(s) with examples.
