Advocating for Your Child's Educational Rights in Grade School

Join Disability Rights California for their webinar: Advocating for Your Child's Educational Rights in Grade School.

In this webinar, DRC will provide information and resources to assist parents in best advocating for their children with disabilities in grade school. It can be challenging to request accommodations or special education when you are unfamiliar with the laws and procedures of Individual Education Plan (IEP) and requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. 

*This training is presented from a peer perspective by people who have lived experience with mental disabilities.*

About the Webinar: Learn about information relating to the different laws, processes, and resources surrounding disability in grade school to empower you to be an effective advocate for your child.
