Marin County Commission on Aging Meeting

A Meeting with Todd Schirmer, PhD, CCHP - Director at Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services. 

Description: Join the Commission to meet Dr. Todd Schirmer, the new Director of Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services, which connects the community with care and resources related to mental health and subtance use. Dr. Schirmer will share his background and talk about the current and emerging services being provided. 

Objectives:

1. Learn about the current array of behavioral health and recovery services in the county and which currently addresses the needs of older adults. 

2. Hear about future plans/services that can support the behavioral health needs of the increasing number of older adults in Marin. 

3. Discuss how to provide input in ensuring that the behavioral health and recovery needs of Marin's older adults are addressed
