Supporting students with disabilities and their families in the transition to adult life.

At The Backdrop, 1455 Corporate Center Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.
The free event is designed to help students and their families learn about services and supports for individuals with disabilities as they transition from school-based programs to adulthood.
Service providers will provide information and answer questions about residential options, adult day, vocational training, post-secondary education, employment, support services, and much more.
Presentations at 3:30 and 5 will cover self-determination as well as work incentives planning.
NOTE: Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 or other illness.
The Transition Fair is a service of the Sonoma County Transition Consortium, which consists of representatives from Sonoma County Office of Education, North Bay Regional Center, Department of Rehabilitation, local school districts and adult service providers.

Este evento gratuito está diseñado para ayudar a los estudiantes y a sus familias a conocer los servicios y apoyos para personas con discapacidades en su transición de los programas escolares a la vida adulta.
Los proveedores de servicios brindarán información y responderán preguntas sobre opciones residenciales, programas de día para adultos, formación profesional, educación postsecundaria, empleo, servicios de apoyo y mucho más.
Las presentaciones a las 15:30 y a las 17:00 h cubrirán la autodeterminación y la planificación de incentivos laborales.
NOTA: No asista si presenta síntomas relacionados con la COVID-19 u otra enfermedad.
La Feria de Transición es un servicio del Consorcio de Transición del Condado de Sonoma, integrado por representantes de la Oficina de Educación del Condado de Sonoma, el Centro Regional North Bay, el Departamento de Rehabilitación, distritos escolares locales y proveedores de servicios para adultos.
