Accessible Transportation Reform: What Happened, What We Learned, What's Next

Join Choice in Aging in learning about accessible transportation legislation. In 2023, Assemblymember Buffy Wicks authored legislation to fix and lift accessible transportation. Unfortunately, that bill did not move forward, but learning and coalition-building from the experience can lay groundwork for more funding and reforms.

The meeting will cover:
- New research showing current needs and new case studies of reforms around the US
- Policy recommendations supported by 20 years of studies
- Funding reform opportunities in 2024
- Discussing coalition and education opportunities in 2024
