Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a holiday celebrated in most states in the United States.
California is one of the states celebrating the second Monday of October as a holiday.
The day honors the Indigenous peoples of the United States—American Indians, Native Alaskans, and Native Hawaiians.
Our offices and Matrix Parents Helpline will be closed all day Monday, October 12, 2026 in observance of Indigenous People’s Day.
