Transition to Adulthood Planning

THIS IS A ZOOM TRAINING offered by: Matrix Parents at Marin CIL (Marin Center for Independent Living).
The transition from high school to adult life is a difficult one for all young adults, but can be particularly challenging for youth with special needs.
Did you know that planning for this transition is supposed to be part of your student's IEP while your student is in high school, or even before?
Come learn how to be involved in how your middle school or high school student’s IEP should be making sure they are prepared for whatever comes next for them.
Parents, caregivers, and youth are encouraged to attend together. These trainings are designed for both you and your child or youth to learn together, build knowledge, and prepare for the future.
