Marin CIL Alert

Take Action to Keep Your Medi-Cal!

Now that the COVID-19 public health emergency is coming to an end, Medi-Cal is resuming its normal renewal processes. It is important to ensure your benefits remain intact!

Medi-Cal recipients are susceptible to losing their benefits now that the COVID-19 public health emergency is coming to an end. Starting April 1, 2023, Medi-Cal will resume its normal renewal processes over the subsequent 14 months, redetermining eligibility for around 15 million current enrollees.

Take action to keep your Medi-cal. The County of Marin can mail recipients a letter about your Medi-Cal coverage. The letter informs the recipient if the County of Marin needs information to renew Medi-Cal or if Medi-Cal was renewed automatically.

If one receives a renewal form, please fill out and return right away.
