WEBINAR: Voting Rights for People Who are Under a Conservatorship

September 19, 2023
2:00pm - 3:00pm

Marin CIL will host Fred Nisen from Disability Rights California to provide a voting rights training webinar on September 19, 2023. This training is for anyone looking to understand conservatorships and voting, especially for individuals with disabilities and their families. DRC’s voting rights attorneys will focus on the rules for voting under conservatorship, covering California's legal framework and debunking common misconceptions. The training will discuss how individuals under conservatorship can seek to have their voting rights restored if previously removed by a judge. The training will also discuss accessible voting options and how to make a plan to vote in the next election.
